Revenu Quebec Updates Specifications for the RL-18

Revenu Quebec recently released updated electronic specifications for Form RL-18, Securities Transactions. These specifications are used by filers to submit RL-18 reports electronically to Revenu Quebec.

There are three specific updates to the specifications which were added to the TY 2018 version of the specifications.

  • Possible values for the applicable year have been updated to 2018 or 2019;
  • The <NoCertification> tag was updated to account for TY 2018 in the Certification Number Format: RQ-18-99-999;
  • Under the <C15_Genre> tag, a new code was added: “ELN” for Equity Linked Notes.
