D.C. Releases 2018 Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Payment Guide

D.C. has released its 2018 EFT Payment Guide. Much of the guide remains the same as last year’s revision. Changes include new instructions that Official Payments (OPAY) allows a limit of $100,000 including the processing fee, and if the payment and the processing fee exceed $100,000 then the payment must be split. Additionally, contact information has also been updated.

Adam Rivera is a member of the Regulatory Analysis Team's Direct Tax division at Sovos. His main areas of focus are Federal and State Tax Withholding and Affordable Care Act (ACA) Reporting. Prior to Sovos, Adam worked as a legislative aide in the Florida House of Representatives. Adam is a member of both the Massachusetts and Florida Bars. He earned his B.A. from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the University of Miami.
